| Nexen Drills Duster in North Sea |

| Nexen has drilled a duster in wildcat well 6507/8-8 in Production License 434. The purpose of the well was to prove petroleum in Lower Jurassic reservoir rocks in the Tilje and Are formations. The well, drilled nearly 4 miles (7 kilometers) southeast of the Heidrun field, reached a vertical depth of 8,284 feet (2,525 meters), terminating in the Are formation in the Lower Jurassic. The Songa Delta semisub drilled the well in a water depth of 1,079 feet (329 meters). The well will be permanently plugged and abandoned. Nexen operates the license, holding a 49% interest; Concedo holds 21%; Noreco holds 20%; and E.ON Ruhrgas Norge holds 10%. |

| Exploratory drilling commenced on the Ronaldo prospect by the Songa Delta semisub. The well is targeting Middle Jurassic reservoir rock. Drilling should take about 72 days. Production License 434, awarded in 2006, spans 15,321 acres (62 square kilometers) over parts of Block 6507/8 and is operated Nexen. |

| The Norwegian Petroleum Directorate has given consent to Nexen Exploration Norge to drill exploratory well 6507/8-8 in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. The well will be drilled by the Songa Delta semisub in Production License 434. This will be the first well drilled in the permit, which was awarded on Feb. 16, 2007. Nexen operates the license, holding a 49% interest; Concedo holds 21%; Noreco holds 20%; and E.ON Ruhrgas Norge holds 10%. |

| Nexen Exploration Norge AS received consent from Petroleum Safety Authority to carry out exploratory drilling for well 6507/8-8 in the Norwegian sector of the North Sea. The Songa Delta semisub will drill the well in 1,079 feet (329 meters) of water. Drilling should commence in mid-January 2011 and last for up to 75 days. Nexen operates Production License 434, holding a 49% interest. Partners in the license include Noreco ASA, Concedo ASA and E.ON-Ruhrgas Norge AS. |

| E.ON Farms-Out PL434 to Noreco |

| Noreco has farmed into Production License 434 and will acquire a 20% interest by carrying a share of E.ON Ruhrgas Norges' drilling cost, a partner in the license. Production License 434 includes the Ronaldo prospect, which is scheduled to spud in January 2011. The main target in the prospect is Middle Jurassic reservoir rock, and the well will be drilled by the Songa Delta semisub. The license, awarded in 2006, spans 15,321 acres (62 square kilometers) over parts of Block 6507/8 and is operated by Revus Energy. |
