Major Operator seeks to recruit a Subsea Cost Engineer to be responsible for all procurement, invoicing and cost reporting. This role is based in Aberdeen and is offered on a contract basis.
The Subsea Cost Engineer will be responsible for providing accurate and timely reforecasting against the budget to the Engineers accountable for executing the work and to the Cost Management Lead for internal reporting and overall assurance.
He will be responsible for but not limited too; Raising & Management of Cost Reports within area of responsibility, Provide assurance, routing, logging and process or Invoices & PO's, Guidance to external vendors on PO's, cost reporting and allocation, Collation, management & challenge of vendor cost reports, Ensure correct allocation of costs to codes, Monitor and reporting costs against each cost centre and Liaise with the Engineers, Cost Team and other departments to ensure timely and accurate cost updates.
The successful candidate is required to have previous experience using excel, database knowledge and maximo or a similar po system.
