THE ROLE YOU WILL PLAY:

  • Responsible for
    • Producing deliverables and supervising team members in support of subsea structure installation using ROVs and/or Divers.
    • Producing detailed engineering to deliver project work, managing aspects of the team as agreed with the Management team.
  • Understands clients' needs; identifies and addresses design parameters and problems; develops and implements solutions; develop/recommend/evaluate the offshore construction methodology using appropriate use of Remote and Diver intervention methods;
  • Under limited supervision, independently evaluates, organizes and prioritizes work;
  • Signs and issues technical documentation as originator or checker, accepting personal responsibility for its adequacy.
  • Represents the Company in meetings/correspondence with Clients, Subcontractors, and 3rd Parties etc in a technical capacity.
  • Where necessary provide day to day guidance and coaching; ensure all relevant safety objectives and legal requirements are observed.


COMMUNITY

  • Located in Houston, with regular trips to worksites onshore and offshore as appropriate.


BACKGROUND PROFILE:

  • Engineering Degree or Equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years experience in the subsea construction industry. Other relevant experience in the oil and gas industry may be considered.


PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

  • Technical specialists within a specific discipline and support the knowledge management and technology initiatives relating to the discipline.
  • Contribute to creating a positive HSEQ culture within company and ensure familiarity with and adherence to local HSEQ codes and practices.
