As a Subsea Ops Engineer, you will be responsible for providing engineering support globally for Subsea equipment. A few of your daily responsibilities will be:
•Produce and approve Subsea operational documentation. •Use engineering judgment to close out NCR's (non-conformance reports) on equipment on 3rd party components. •Offer design and assembly support to manufacturing and offshore operations. •Liaise with clients and or regions to ensure all equipment is supplied to meet technical requirements within set deadlines. •Assist in analysis, modification and design for assigned projects. •Conducts test and writes test procedures and analyzes test results for assigned projects. •Applies working knowledge of materials, components, and their application. •Assists in handling field and manufacturing problems to maintain and improve products and services. •Incorporates Reliability, HSE and Quality analysis techniques during the design process. •Assists in planning and conduct project tasks as assigned. •Applies company sanctioned standards and specifications. •Learns and utilizes project management skills in the organization and execution of project assignments as necessary
Skills are typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline, and 2 years of related experience. Certification as a Licensed/Chartered Professional Engineer is preferred.
