Gold Oil Farms Out Talara Basin Asset

May 1, 2013 - Gold Oil, the independent exploration and production company focused on interests in Columbia and Peru, announced the farm-out of 80% of its interest in Peruvian block Z-34 to Union Oil & Gas Corp. Terms of the agreement dictate that Gold Oil will be carried through the remaining three phases of exploration. Block Z-34 is located in the offshore Talara Basin, an area that has seen little exploration. The offshore portion of the basin is estimated to contain 1.71 billion barrels of recoverable oil.
