This company has a long track record of delivering the highest quality systems and equipment to the oil and gas industry. They are developing a new line of subsea trees and wellheads and require a Subsea Engineer to lead the engineering design process and provide expertise throughout manufacturing, installation and commissioning.

This position will come with a large degree of influence and autonomy: you will be responsible for directing the more junior engineers and guiding the overall direction of the engineering design.

Our ideal candidate will have excellent knowledge of subsea trees and wellhead equipment, likely to be from within one of the well-known vendors. This knowledge should focus on either Mechanical or Controls, or both. You will likely have a relevant engineering degree, but we will certainly consider candidates with equivalent industry experience.

You should be familiar with ISO/API/NORSOK standards related to subsea control systems, wellheads and Xmas trees.

You should have a track record in designing similar equipment, ideally including supervision and direction of other engineers.

You should have demonstrable experience of supporting the manufacturing, testing, and installation of the system, equipment and hardware.

Experience of verifications by Stress analysis is preferred.
