Apr. 2013 - Bowleven released the final updated on the IM-5 appraisal/development well offshore Cameroon. A drill stem test (DST) has been performed on the Intra Isongo reservoir which marks the end of the successful drilling and testing program. The Intra Isongo test achieved a flow rate of 37 MMscfd and 4,4664 bcpd through a 64/64-inch choke from a 95-foot perforated interval. Intra Isongo results combined with Middle Isongo delivered a maximum flow rate of 60 MMcfd and 7,819 bcpd. The IM-5 well will now be suspended as a future producer.

Apr. 2013 - Bowleven announced the preliminary results from the IM-5 drill stem test (DST) in the MLHP-7 block off the coast of Cameroon. Flow rates of condensate-rich gas achieved 23 Mmscfd and 3,155 bcpd from the Middle Isongo reservoir. Preparations are now underway to test the Intra Isongo interal. Upon completion of the second DST the well will be suspended for use as a development well. IM-5 was drilled to 11,253 feet in 183 feet of water by the Atwood Aurora (350' ILC).

Feb. 2013 - Bowleven announced drilling operations at the IM-5 appraisal/development well have reached a depth of 10,925 feet which is just above the Middle Isongo reservoir. Moving forward, the reservoir will be cored and then drilling will resume to the target depth of 11,400 feet. Preliminary LWD results indicate the intersection of 262 gross feet of reservoir which corresponds to pre-drill seismic data. Additional logging to assess reservoir quality will take place once total depth has been reached. Additionally, the well intersected 104 feet of high quality Upper Isongo sands which proved to be water-bearing, as predicted.

Sep. 2012 - Bowleven's latest Etinde appraisal and development well offshore Cameroon is now underway. The IM-5 well is being drilled by the Atwood Aurora (350' ILC) in block MLHP-7. The primary objective of the operation is to establish reservoir and fluid properties in the Middle Isongo sands. An extensive logging, testing and coring suite will be performed as well. The well has been designed in a manner that will allow for use as a future producer. A second well will be drilled on the permit, the location of which will be determined by results of the IM-5.

Jan. 2010 - Bowleven plans to commence a drilling program on the Etinde Permit in April or May 2010, with the spudding of the IE appraisal well (IE-3) followed by the MLHP-5 exploratory well - a letter of intent has been issued for a rig to carry out the drilling activities. On the seismic front, the company signed a letter of intent for a vessel to acquire 3D marine seismic on the Etinde Permit. The parameters of a potential well, IF-2 (which would be the third well in this particular drilling program), depend on the results of seismic activity in the MLHP-7 Block. The Etinde permit area compromises three shallow water blocks, MLHP-5, MLHP-6 and MLHP-7, located offshore Cameroon, West Africa. Since 2007, Bowleven has drilled four wells in the permit, and contingent discovered resources for the permit include 225 MMbbl and 1 Tcf.
