Currently, Det norske is operating the field, holding a 63.3% interest; Dana holds 19.2%; Bridge Energy holds 6%; and Petoro holds 11.5%. However, Bridge Energy and Dana Petroleum have elected not to participate in the development of Jette. The remaining partners are in discussions with respect to the final ownership stake in the license.
On Oct. 28, 2009, the partners announced an oil discovery was made on Jette. Oil was proven in the targeted reservoir but its thickness was less than expected. In November, a sidetrack was drilled to a vertical depth of 7,067 feet (2,154 meters) in 417 feet (127 meters) of water and concluded in the Rogaland Group.
In September 2011, Det norske submitted a PDO for the development, which entails two horizontal wells, tied-back to the Jotun FPSO.
Jette, containing nearly 14 MMbbl of oil equivalents, is projected to produce roughly 14,000 barrels. First oil is expected to commence in 1Q 2013.

Jetta Ownership Increases for Det Norske
Type: Operator Update
Dec. 2009 - Det norske has acquired a 13 percent ownership interest in production licenses 027D and 169C from Exploration and Production Norway AS (ExxonMobil).
These licenses are located south of the Jotun field where recently oil was discovered in wells, 25/8-17 and 25-8-17A The parties have also sought the approval of the Ministry of Petroleum and Energy of a transfer of operatoship for license 027D to Det norske, subject to approval by the management committee of license 027D. With the completion of the transfer, Det norske will be operator around the Jotun Field. Det norske is heading a project on behalf of PL 027D, 169C and 504, with the ambition to see if it is possible to commercialize the Jetta discovery and possibly other prospects in area, via the Jotun installations.

Dana Announces Discovery Near Jotun
Type: Appraisal Operations
Nov. 2009 - Dana Petroleum announced oil was discovered in the Jetta sidetrack well (25/8-17 A) in Production License 027 D, offshore Norway. The operator is concluding the drilling operations on the wildcat well and the new sidetrack well. Drilling was performed by the Bredford Dolphin, a 2nd generation semisubmersible, in a water depth of 417 feet (127 meters) to prove the presence of petroleum in Paleocene age reservoir rocks in the two wells, which was successful, but the reservoir had less thickness than prognosed. The data collection process to determine if Jetta is a commercial success has been completed.

Det Norske Lifts Share in Jetta Prospect Ahead of Drilling
Type: Operator Update
Jul. 2009 - Det norske has agreed to lift its stake in the PL 027D Jetta prospect, located in the Norwegian North Sea, from 35% to 47% by taking on a 12% stake from ExxonMobil, prior to drilling operations. In return, Det norske will carry ExxonMobil's 13% stake in the drilling operation. The Jetta prospect is located next to the producing Jotun field, and the semisub Bredford Dolphin is scheduled to spud the well in mid−August. A discovery could be produced from existing installations on the Jotun field and thus a fast track development of potential reserves is possible.
