Job Description
|
| Lead Subsea Flow Assurance Engineer
Conceptual design of deepwater subsea oil and gas production facilities equipment; including Completions, Manifolds, Subsea Pumps, Chemical Distribution Systems, Flowlines and Risers
Interface with Well Completions, Subsea Facilities; Flowlines, Risers, and Floating Facilities Engineering
Oversee technical aspects of the project including design engineering, and development of operating philosophies and detailed procedures
Management of discipline work performed by Subsea Design consultancies, and pipeline/riser consultancies
Audit work performed by Subsea Design consultancies, and Equipment Manufacturers
Carry out evaluations of facilities and equipment bids
Provide input to project budgets, cost estimates and schedules
Undertake special studies as required
Technical Degree BSc. level as a minimum
Appreciation of subsea start-up, shutdown and transient phenomena from a flow assurance perspective
Capability with Hysys.
Knowledge of OLGA use and output interpretation.
Fifteen years experience in subject matter areas of responsibilities
Working experience of interfacing across disciplines on a large deepwater project
International working experience
High level of technical acumen with strong general understanding of oil and gas business
HAZID and HAZOP participation and management of associated close outs
Several years of experience in developing and maturing field development opportunities
Awareness of subsea deepwater field design, precommissioning, and commissioning, and operation
Experience with topsides process design
Experience with defining fluid sample testing programs desirable.
Experience with corrosion prediction tools desirable.
